Granulation Unit

CO2 Purification Unit

The CO2 collected from four sources: Pars, Parsian Sepehr, Morvarid and Farsa Shimi are led into CO2 Purification Unit. There, its H2S content reaches to ppm15 using desulfurization methods until it enters Melt Unit.

Melt Unit

Urea is generated as a result of Ammonia & CO2 reaction under temperature of 170-185 centigrade and pressure of 14/25 MPa.

Melt Unit

This process has been designed based upon the information as provided by license holder company (Stamicarbon). Urea is produced through three stages in each one pressure is decreased. The ammonia entering into the unit is condensed using Melt centrifuge high pressure pumps up to 1/14 MPa and then reaches to the Reactor that is located at the high-pressure section of the Melt Unit.

Granulation Unit

Granulation as designed by license holder (Stamicarbon company) is a fluid bed granulation. The urea melt inside fluidized bed is sprayed through a large number of nozzles. To ensure urea granules are solid and cold enough, the bed is aired. The rotating plate located at the end of collection tower and conveyor belt transfer the cold urea granules towards screen. Tiny granules are separated and returned; the product is transferred through conveyor belt for the purpose of storage, then it is brought back to berth through conveyor belt.
